Beijing's first Coca-Cola merchandising store to open

BEIJING (AFX) - Beijing's first Coca-Cola merchandising store will open in the city's Oriental Plaza at the end of September, Business Today reported, citing industry sources.

The Coca-Cola Store is a new brand-marketing strategy -- the boutique sells clothing, accessories, furnishings and gifts under the Coca-Cola brand.

Chen Yanrong, general manager of Shenzhen Lifestyle Trading Co Ltd -- the exclusive franchisee authorized by Coca-Cola -- said 400 Coca-Cola Stores are expected to open in China within three years with stores already in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Shenyang.
